SJ's CareCredit credit card story begins with her teeth, but it doesn't end there. Five years ago, she needed major dental work. She didn't want to get dentures, so she opted for dental implants instead. When she found out that her periodontist accepts CareCredit, her husband opened a CareCredit credit card account to pay for the implants.

After that, SJ decided to address the constant pain she was experiencing in her left foot. What she didn't know was that one of her legs is shorter than the other, causing a slight limp. But when a foot specialist recommended cortisone shots and surgery, SJ sought a second opinion.

Her search led her to an orthotics store, where they recommended arch supports in lieu of shots and surgery—a much less invasive and more affordable option. SJ applied for and got her own CareCredit credit card account right then and there, allowing her to purchase a great pair of sneakers, socks, and arch supports.

As soon as she put on the arch supports, her left foot stopped hurting. Now, at age 73, she's back to walking and to working out three times a week. SJ says she's grateful to CareCredit for getting her back to the activities she loves.

And that's not all. When SJ fell and lost her two front teeth, she had them replaced at her dentist, who accepts CareCredit. She's also used CareCredit at her dermatologist to erase her forehead lines with Botox®. And CareCredit helps her pay for veterinary care for her cats, Petey and Lulu Belle.

SJ especially loves the CareCredit Mobile App, which she says is great for seniors like her so they don't have to keep pulling credit cards out of their wallet. Instead, she simply uses her CareCredit digital card in the app to make purchases. SJ also uses the mobile app to pay her bills, and she requested and received a credit limit increase. After all, she knows she's going to keep using her CareCredit credit card for years to come. Her next purchases? A dental cleaning and a new pair of sneakers.

“I've got plans for that card," she says. “CareCredit is amazing!"
