Dr. Dana Juillerat, DVM (Dr. J) Area Medical Director, VCA Florida
From the age of 12, Dr. Dana Juillerat has devoted his life to veterinary medicine. Beginning as a kennel assistant, he steadily advanced working as a veterinary assistant and technician before earning his undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh and then pursued his veterinary degree at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2003. In 2004, Dr. Juillerat purchased Tri-County Animal Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida where his leadership transformed the practice and ultimately led to VCA acquiring the hospital. He forged strong partnerships with the Humane Society of St. Lucie County and continues to collaborate with regional rescue organizations, keeping the practice deeply rooted in its community. Now serving as an Area Medical Director across Florida’s South Atlantic regions, Dr. Juillerat mentors hospital teams and fosters growth and innovation throughout the VCA network. He is a recipient of the Outstanding Young Alumni Award from the University of Florida and has earned recognition in multiple VCA Next competitions for forward-thinking initiatives in veterinary care.

About Dr. Werber - Dr. Jeff Werber has been a practicing veterinarian for 39 years. A 1976 graduate of U.C. Berkeley, he earned his veterinary degree at the University of California-Davis in 1984.
