CareCredit offers a Financing Toolkit to help providers achieve peak financing program performance. This friendly solution can help save you time since it enables you to highlight financing options for your patients and clients.

Here’s a look at how CareCredit can help you create a seamless financing experience:

QR Code Signage

Available in several formats like table displays, wall clings or even stickers, your custom QR code allows patients or clients to learn about budget-friendly financing options while in your office.

They scan the QR code, see if they prequalify, apply and, if approved, they can pay with the CareCredit credit card that same day!

This friendly solution saves you time since it puts them in charge of their financing options.

You can review applications and payment status directly in Provider Center under “Reports” or in your Practice Management Software (if applicable). The QR code and corresponding URL are tied to your Merchant ID so payment reconciliation and tracking are easy.

Displaying Your QR Code

Make it easy for patients and clients to learn about CareCredit and apply on their own by placing your QR code in high-visibility, high-traffic areas throughout the office, such as:

  • At checkout. Having signage featured prominently at checkout helps bring attention to your patients or clients that you offer a budget-friendly solution for their out-of-pocket costs—helping make cost conversations easier for your team, and allowing them to focus more on providing care.
  • Discharge/checkout papers. During checkout, give them a sticker with your QR code so they can learn about CareCredit, apply and pay on their own. Giving them this information so they can review it at home on their own is a great way to get that process started.
  • Waiting room walls and tables. Clients and patients often spend a lot of time here—why not make it educational and helpful? Put signs on tables and walls and place brochures around so they can get a jumpstart on learning about CareCredit while they wait.
  • On clipboards. How many times has a provider given a patient or client a clipboard with papers to sign or review?   • It can also be typed directly into a web browser to learn about financing options.

Digital banners and buttons. It’s easy to share your custom link with digital buttons or banners on your website and emails. Simply download the size that fits your needs from Provider Center. Smaller banners should be used on the homepage near the top navigation bar of your website. Larger banners can be used within an area that might generally be used for ads, or they can be used as a type of “call to action” within the body copy.

Payment Calculator

Healthcare costs can often cause sticker shock, and patients or clients might be hesitant to follow through with treatment — or pursue the full scope of treatment — if their only perspective is the full cost. The Payment Calculator helps them visualize how CareCredit can help fit care into their budget with convenient monthly payments.

It’s easy to use:

  • Log in to http://carecreditprovidercenter.com and click “Payment Calculator.”
  • Input the estimated treatment fee, then click “Calculate.”
  • Click “Customize and Print.” Then, fill in patient and office information and select “Download Customized Plan,” “Print Customized Plan” or “Email Customized Plan” to generate the customized form for your patient.
  • Share these estimated monthly payments with the patient—depending on the special financing options you offer, you may be able to provide a number of options so they can choose the financing option that works for them.*

How to Update Your Provider Locator Listing

With over two million searches per month,** the Provider Locator page can help get your name in front of patients or clients near you looking for practices that accept CareCredit for their care.

These visitors can filter practices by distance and specialty, which means you have a chance to stand out—but only if your listing is up to date and visible. Update and maintain your listing easily in Provider Center.

Log in to Provider Center and:

  • Go to Resources & Settings
  • Select Provider Locator
  • Make sure “This practice is listed in the provider locator” is checked
  • Verify that all information in your listing is correct
